WSO2026 Advent Raffle

You know how we click – the first tickets for Wir sind Ohana can always be won in our advent raffle. Advent rituals like the Advent calendar with daily gifts, or the Advent wreath that lights a candle for each Sunday that you get closer to Christmas, have been invented to celebrate (and fill) the wait for Christmas. And for Wir sind Ohana, it’s also the wait until we open ticketing.

And here’s our Advent wreath for 2025: We will post a picture every Sunday. The post will contain a hint or a question. The answer is never obvious, and you will need to read closely, watch closely, bring text, picture, meaning together to find the solution.

There are no tricks – there is no solution like “GENIE, because it’s the departed mascot, which can only be seen outside the window”.

There are no solutions like “AI, because the flame of the candle is a metaphor for the energy being burned by LLMs in data centers”

It’s inspired by old school computer games like visual novels or adventure games that require you to read closely, examine closely, find clues, bring them together, and unleash your inner Sherlock to find the solution.

Follow our social channels and interact there to participate.

How you can win?

  • Find the correct solution, and send it with your explanation as a DM on one of our social channels. The correct answers for each “candle” will enter one draw per challenge.

If you have no clue, or don’t guess right, you can still win. All likes and reactions, reposts, comments, and even wrong attempts earn you ticket in our “nice try, but no” draw.

When and how?

Interactions are open until December 31, midnight CET. Winners will be informated in January and will receive a voucher code that can be traded in for a free ticket to Wir sind Ohana.

We will collect all reactions for one draw, and one draw for correct answers per challenge. We will draw winners randomly from each draw. Each person can win only once and will be removed from subsequent draws. We will do our very best to guarantee to count all interactions, draw absolutely random and without intervention. Yet errors may occur, there is no guarantee to win, we may end the raffle or exclude you, in partiucular if we have reason to assume fraud. And the outcomes cannot be appealed. It’s a fun activity, not a legal battle.
